The ALLHearts Story 💕

So, this may sound a little, I don’t know, silly? But I honestly thought a lot about what I would love this community to be. It’s tricky because I had to think about it before the community has even begun, yet I felt like one day, this could be really special. And yes, I thought a lot about what the kind of community I imagined, would be called. Enter, ALLHearts.

I will keep this very short and hopefully sweet. This community, in my dreams, is a place where we will all get to be unapologetically ourselves. A place to feel laughter, love and light. A space to show all our unique quirks and not worry about judgement. That’s the dream I have for this community. And with all my heart, I wish for it to be this way forever, for everyone who becomes a part of it.

Alien (Be your unique self. We’re all completely different from one another so next time someone makes that feel like a bad thing, please know it’s the best thing)

Lion (Be brave. In all the ways you can be. When you can be. It’s never easy to be brave but know that you have so much strength in you and when you’re ready, you are born to be brave.)

Love (Show love. Again it’s not always easy but love is the very best thing we have. I hope for you all to feel loved in this space here but even more so in the spaces you’re already in. I want to try and show up with love, over hate, as much as possible. I believe we can all do that. It’s normal to make mistakes, but even then, show up with love for yourself too.)

Hearts (Love actually links on to this word too, so it’s more like ‘Love-hearts’. I think the idea of being an Alien, Lion, Love-heart is just the most adorable way to show up as ourselves or our best…I hope that makes sense. Plus, it fully inspired the equally adorable logo. Which is one of my favourite things I’ve created. It makes me happy. This all makes me so happy. Thank you for being here. And, whether you decide to leave this community one day or never do, you can always be an ALLHeart 💕)

P.S.

Lila is a name I also thought a lot about, especially in relation to ALLHearts. It has two meanings really. One: Lila is another version of my given name ‘Lauren’ but essentially represents a best version of it, I liked that idea. Two: The logo around Lila, so writing and creating music as well as dreaming about this space and what it could be, saved me from a lot of bad things. Now, did you know that ‘E’ is the most common vowel in words in the English language? And that ‘T’ is the most common consonant? Which means in a game of hangman, they’re the most likely letters to save you. Hence the little hangman on ‘Lila’. Also, together, the letters make ‘ET’, like an Alien. That sparked my idea for the little spaceship on ‘Lila’ and ultimately led to how I related it to ALLHearts with ‘Alien’ being the first word. It’s probably a bit of a boring story really but I wanted to put it here too since ‘Lila’ is so very intertwined with ‘ALLHearts’. I love the idea of being an ALLHeart, and from now until forever I will be one, or I will try to be one. I believe you all, probably more than myself, so keep fighting and keep trying. Love you!
